Memorial Weekend

Friday started out with mom, nana and I having a Cafe Max picnic and swimming. I traumatized Memphis by putting him under water for the first time and after that he was over swimming for the day... He does great at kicking his feet but I dread the swim lessons this summer. Im aware most kids hate getting dunked while learning to hold their breath, dont blame them.... Friday night we had a family date with the Covin's at Top Golf Allen. Memphis had so much fun with Melissa's son Jamison , they played hide and seek and it was so cute to see Memphis laughing and playing like a big boy...We got home late ( with no afternoon nap) and even though Memphis went to bed at 10:45 pm he still got up at 4:30 am and wouldn't go back to bed.... So in the bed with us... Hate to do that but that's the only way i can at least get 5 hours a sleep a night.... I'm dragging so bad ( left my purse in a grapevine mall store, lost my new sunglasses, left my camera at my aunts ) all thing were retrieved unharmed but I just hate this new scatter brain me! I've always , even as a kid my mom says, been a organized person and make notes of notes.. Lately I am lucky if i get pants on when i leave the house..... I didn't get post partum depression but i have certainly got memory loss and irritation. God forbid you lag in front of me at Albertson's, I will bite your head off.....  Cut me some slack... On Lunesta Rx but seems to only give me a 4 hour sleep window.... I need a sleep therapist for me and Memphis. Or a night nanny.....

Ready for summer!

Travis was home this week so it was jam packed with excitement including Memphis walking Tuesday! Everyday he gets better , today was 9 steps in a row! Travis took off today and we went to RainForest Cafe and sat by the huge aquarium , of course.... Had so much fun eating and shopping , then decided we needed to take a dip in my inlaws pool! Memphis had a blast in the pool for the first time. Here are some pics!

Pointing and ALMOST walking!!

Memphis is almost walking, like any moment! He will take a step and not fall but hasn't figured out how to move the other leg... Also he is pointing at everything, sooooo cute! But the other day in my bed he pointed all the way down my nostril into my throat causing a major bloody nose at 5 am. I've learned to see my way out of his way!! Heard a crash go down in my bathroom only to find Whiskey hanging out in the tub, she chilled in there for 15 minutes... She gets a bath every week and will jump in herself....

Mamma had a night out to see my friends band Loyal Sally play!! Nini and JimPaw watched Memphis and had a packed night of visiting with MawMaw & PawPaw, yogurt sampling at YogurtLand, train @ Firewheel mall and his first bean burrito at Taco Casa (My Fave!!!) And he got to go to the park this morning with them!! When we picked him up we were hungry so we all went to Ozonas in Dallas to eat on the patio and have Sangria's. Best ever. If you ever are in the Dallas greenville ave area eat there, get a sangria swirl and the potato wheel appetizer. Holy hell it was wonderful!!!!! It was a change to go see a band that didnt consist of me playing for 3 hours worn out, so it was a nice change . But staying out till 2am , kicked my butt!!! We had some friends come meet us out and we all got to experiences a fruit loop and milk shot. Weird it totally tasted like fruit loops..... Of course i didn't shoot mine but did tried a sip. I'm happy to play sober sister anywhere we go!! I always get made fun of for drinking iced tea at bars but i don't mind.
